Cooking with Fran: Hot Chocolate Basque Style

As Game of Thrones stated, "Winter is Coming." Now is the time to sit on the sofa curled up under a blanket and watch a romantic movie while drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Today GC contributor Fran Glaria and his wife Ainhoa share their homemade hot chocolate recipe.

Here is what you need to cook along:

Whole Milk - 500gr - 17.5 Oz.
Chocolate (70%) - 200gr - 7 Oz.
Sugar - 50 gr - 1.7 Oz.
Corn Starch - 10 gr - 0.5 Oz.
Salt
Makes 4 servings


Fran Glaria was born and raised in Pamplona, part of the Basque country in northern Spain. His passions for history, art and food, led him to tour guiding. Over 20 years ago, he started a small local guiding company in his hometown. This company evolved into designing tours in the Basque region, and also into organizing tours for the Running of the Bulls festival in Pamplona.
