Stockholm-based guide Åsa Danielsson of Aawesome Travels interviews her namesake, Åsa Rosén. She is not only a successful writer of youth fantasy books inspired by Swedish folklore, including the series Viskornas dal and Circus Caramba, she is also a talented illustrator. Ms. Rosén comes from the northern part of Sweden, next to the Finnish border, called Tornedalen (Torne Valley)—a unique melting pot of cultures and languages, including the Sami and the Miänkieli.

Join Åsa and Åsa for an intriguing look into a fascinating region of Sweden, and learn about the incredible culture that has inspired the author and her readership.
